Ömer Kadir Kurt

Ömer Kadir Kurt is the founder and CEO of Fragnatique, the AI perfume advisor built by Appthos Studio OÜ in Tallinn. The company started as his idea, and its core is his own engineering: he conceived the product and wrote the matching algorithm and the Scent Graph it runs on, a structured model that reads fragrance the way a trained nose would, then reasons across the whole field at once.

His background is in AI-native product engineering, with deep work in vision-language models, mobile architecture, and structured-data systems for fields that have always relied on tacit expertise. Under his direction the Scent Graph grew to cover thousands of fragrances and hundreds of individual notes, and it now drives everything from the personal match score to the Scent Lab, where a user composes an original perfume and exports a production-ready formula.

He moved Fragnatique to Tallinn to build from inside the Estonian deep-tech ecosystem, and he runs the company on one conviction: that fragrance is a data problem first and a consumer product second.

Erdinç Karabekir

Erdinç Karabekir is the co-founder and CMO of Fragnatique, responsible for brand, go-to-market strategy, and the partnerships that give the platform real-world reach. He shapes how the product is positioned, how its story earns trust with fragrance buyers, niche houses, and independent perfumers, and how it grows from a strong technical foundation into an industry presence. At Fragnatique he led the retail partnership with Fragrance Gallery Tallinn and steered the company's entry into the Tehnopol Startup accelerator and the wider Startup Estonia and ESA BIC programmes.

His professional background gives him an unusual vantage point in a product company. Through Esti Legal, his European legal practice, he advises startups, founders, and technology companies on EU AI Act compliance, GDPR, FinTech regulation, and startup law. That grounding in how frontier technology companies are built and governed shapes the way he approaches Fragnatique: structured, defensible, and built for international scale from the first line of code.

Why Fragnatique

The fragrance industry was overdue for a real data layer.

Fragrance has run on tacit knowledge for over a century. A perfumer trains for years to recognize how a saffron note will behave at hour three on the wrong skin. A shopper has thirty seconds at a counter and no context. We thought the gap was a software problem.

Fragnatique is what came out of that thesis. A Scent Graph instead of a flat catalog. Match scoring with written reasoning instead of a number. A Scent Lab that produces an IFRA-compliant manufacturing document rather than a guess.

To give everyone, from a first-time buyer to a working perfumer, the structured understanding of fragrance that used to take years at a bench. We turn scent into something you can search, compare, and build on, with the reasoning always shown rather than hidden behind a number.

Vision

A world where discovering a fragrance, understanding why it suits you, and creating an entirely new one all happen in the same place, and where the craft of perfumery is open to anyone curious enough to try it.
