Fragnatique × Fragrance Gallery Tallinn: Where Curation Meets AI

Scent is personal. Discovery should be intelligent.

Today, we are proud to announce our first retail partnership: Fragrance Gallery Tallinn.

For years, the gallery has curated a collection that celebrates the art of perfumery. It honors craftsmanship, respects tradition, and creates a space where fragrance becomes experience rather than commodity. Now, we are bringing that artistry into the digital world.

Thirty expertly curated fragrances from Fragrance Gallery Tallinn's selection are now integrated into Fragnatique. Each one analyzed by our AI. Each composition understood. Each note ready to connect with the people who truly resonate with it.

This post is a longer note on the partnership, what it means for shoppers and creators, and how to use the integration inside the app.

Fragrance Gallery Tallinn is a niche perfume gallery in the heart of Estonia's capital. The gallery focuses on the houses that the high street rarely carries: independent perfumers, niche houses with strong olfactory positions, and artisanal collections that you typically have to travel to Paris, Milan, or London to encounter in person.

Walk in and the experience is closer to a small art gallery than a department store. There is no thirty-second sniff and a push. There is curation, conversation, and the patience of a team that has spent years smelling. The selection is built around a clear thesis: fragrance is craft, not commodity, and a serious gallery treats it that way.

The gallery's pull, for the perfumery community in the Baltics, is exactly that thesis. It is one of the very few places in the region where you can spend an hour tracing a niche house's evolution across three releases without anyone interrupting the process.

What we shipped together

Fragnatique now ships with a dedicated Fragrance Gallery Tallinn collection. Inside the app, the collection looks like a curated list with thirty perfumes from the gallery's selection, each one fully integrated into the fragnatique perfume advisor's structured analysis.

Practically, that means every perfume in the Fragrance Gallery Tallinn collection has the same depth of metadata as the rest of the 3,000-fragrance database:

  • A full notes pyramid decomposing the perfume into top, heart, and base notes against the 680-note Olfactory Atlas. The structure of why this matters is in our explainer on the notes pyramid as a chemistry diagram.
  • A six-axis accord radar scoring the perfume on woody, fresh, sweet, earthy, fruity, and green axes so you can see at a glance whether it belongs in your taste profile.
  • A personal match score with written reasoning for each shopper, computed against the personality vector built from your quizzes, liked fragrances, and photo style analysis. A primer on what that score actually says is in What an AI Perfume Advisor Actually Does.
  • Full context for the bottle: longevity prediction, sillage tier, season fit, occasion, and a Tallinn-anchored note on what the gallery's curators wrote about it.

The same fragrance you smell in the gallery becomes, with one tap inside the app, a structured object you can match against your taste, save into a personal list, compare to alternatives, and revisit later.

Designer fragrances cluster. They are engineered to be liked by a wide audience, which means they share narrow ranges of accords, common base notes, and predictable longevity. An AI perfume advisor that only sees designer perfumes does not really have to work hard to be useful.

Niche perfumery is the harder test. A niche house ships gourmands that smell like wet stone, woods that you cannot identify, and accords that exist nowhere else. Recommending well across that surface area is exactly the problem an AI perfume advisor needs to solve.

That is why our first retail partnership is a niche-focused gallery. The Fragrance Gallery Tallinn collection inside Fragnatique stress-tests the structured matching we have been building. It also gives users access to fragrances that would otherwise require a trip to a major European capital.

How the integration works in practice

There are three ways into the Fragrance Gallery Tallinn collection inside Fragnatique.

At the gallery. Fragrance Gallery Tallinn carries a partnership QR code on display in the gallery itself. Scanning it with any camera app opens Fragnatique on the dedicated collection screen, with the thirty fragrances pre-loaded. From there you can rank them by personal match score and save the ones that resonate to your profile in seconds.

In the app. Open Fragnatique, head to the Discover tab, and look for the Fragrance Gallery Tallinn collection card. Tap to enter the curated list, where every perfume is sortable by your personal match score, by family, by season, or by sillage.

Through the scanner. If you encounter a fragrance from the collection elsewhere, the offline scanner inside Fragnatique will identify it from the bottle and surface the same metadata that the integration unlocks at the gallery.

The shared thread is that physical discovery and digital precision now travel together. A fragrance you encounter in the gallery does not get lost in the gap between the counter and your memory. It travels with you, as a structured object, into the app and into the personal scent profile you are building.

What this means for fragrance shoppers

Two practical things change.

Discovery quality goes up. Walking into a niche gallery without context is intimidating. Most shoppers default to a small handful of perfumes the staff happens to suggest, and the rest of the collection becomes background. With the Fragnatique integration, every fragrance in the curated list comes with an upfront personal match score, so you can spend the gallery visit smelling the perfumes most likely to fit you.

Memory survives the visit. The hardest part of niche shopping is not the smelling. It is remembering, three days later, which one of the eight you tested actually felt right. With the Fragnatique integration, every fragrance you save during the gallery visit lives in your scent profile. You can revisit notes, compare match scores, and read the AI-written reasoning whenever you want, including offline.

For creators using the Scent Lab to formulate their own perfume, the partnership unlocks a curated reference set of niche compositions to study and benchmark against during the design process.

A note on the bigger thesis

Fragnatique's longer arc is to build what we describe internally as a Molecular Operating System for the fragrance industry. The retail partnership with Fragrance Gallery Tallinn is the first proof point that the same underlying graph that powers personal match scoring and the Scent Lab can also power retail experiences in physical galleries.

Fragrance Gallery understands the soul of scent. Fragnatique understands the science of connection. Together, we are redefining how fragrance is discovered.

If you are in Tallinn, visit Fragrance Gallery and ask for the Fragnatique-integrated collection. If you are elsewhere, download Fragnatique on iOS and the curated thirty are waiting in the app.

Where intelligence meets elegance.
