Fragnatique Joins Tehnopol Startup Incubator
Fragnatique has joined Tehnopol Startup Incubator, the deep-tech program at the largest science and business campus in the Baltics. A note on the milestone and what is next.

Fragnatique has joined the Tehnopol Startup Incubator. Setting up our operations in Tallinn, Estonia, was always part of building for the global stage, and being part of this program is the kind of milestone that we wanted to share quietly with the people who follow Fragnatique.
This post is a short note on the program, where Fragnatique fits, and what we are focused on next.
About Tehnopol
Tehnopol is the largest science and business campus in the Baltics and a central node in the Estonian tech ecosystem. The Startup Incubator program supports deep-tech and highly innovative companies with mentorship, operator-led workshops, and access to the wider regional ecosystem. It is one of several programs that have shaped the trajectory of Estonian companies that ended up scaling globally.

Where Fragnatique fits
Fragnatique is building toward what we describe internally as a Molecular Operating System for the fragrance industry. The shorter version is that we treat fragrance as structured data first and a consumer surface second.
Three ideas anchor the work:
- A Scent Graph, not a flat database. Every interaction updates a structured graph of olfactory relationships. The 3,000 fragrances in our index sit on top of 680 atomic notes, organized into eight families and connected by accord, family, and user-affinity edges. The reader-facing version of how this graph is built is in Top, Middle, Base: How the Notes Pyramid Actually Works.
- Manufacturing-grade output, not just consumer suggestions. The Scent Lab generates real fragrance formulations with cost analysis, sensory and volatility profiles, an aging prediction, and IFRA-aware compliance checks. The user-facing flow is covered on the Features page.
- A traditional industry meeting the digital age. Fragrance has been built around tacit knowledge for over a century. Fragnatique brings a layer of proprietary machine learning underneath that craft without trying to replace the people who make it.
The consumer entry point is the fragnatique perfume advisor: a 12-question profile, a photo analysis, or a scanned bottle in three taps.

The team
Fragnatique is a small founding team based in Tallinn. The work splits roughly between research and machine learning on the Scent Graph side, and product and design on the consumer side. There is no separate growth team yet; we are deliberately keeping the team focused while the platform matures.
What we are focused on
Without committing to dates we are not yet ready to share publicly, the broad themes for the period ahead are:
- Scanner expansion to additional regions, with prioritization driven by user data rather than guesswork.
- Scent Lab depth for the creator and small-brand segment, including richer cost analysis and the Industry Consultant market-assessment layer.
- Android closure, finalizing the parity gap between iOS and Android so the platform is genuinely global.
- A structured editorial program, the blog you are reading now, operating as a discovery surface in its own right rather than a marketing afterthought.
Why this matters beyond Fragnatique
Estonia consistently produces deep-tech companies that punch well above the country's headcount. Skype, Bolt, Wise, Pipedrive, Veriff, and a current generation of AI-native startups have all benefited from a small but tightly connected ecosystem. Programs like the one at Tehnopol are one of the reasons that ecosystem holds together.
Fragnatique joining that broader story signals two things to the wider fragrance industry. First, that the deep-tech approach to perfume is real and not a marketing label. Second, that the European fragrance technology stack now has an AI-first player with the operational backing to scale globally.
What's next on this blog
If you came here from outside the Fragnatique product, the most useful follow-on reads are What Is an AI Perfume Advisor? A 2026 Field Guide and How to Find Your Signature Scent in 7 Honest Steps. The science-leaning The Fragrance Families, Decoded is the third foundational piece.
The work continues. The fragrance industry is overdue for fundamental change, and we are grateful for the operators in Tallinn who are helping us build toward it.
